Alejandra Russell is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a bilingual student, educator, yoga instructor and mother of two amazing children. Her first Spanish teaching opportunity came when she met her future husband in Buenos Aires and supported his language studies there.  After marrying and relocating to Colorado she continued her teaching practice by creating a bilingual preschool for her kids in 2005. Over the next 10 years, Alejandra developed hundreds of fun and educational activities for young learners of Spanish.

A genuine lover of culture and people, Alejandra observed very early that many Americans, Europeans and native Spanish speakers had a strong interest in sharing their experiences in Spanish language and Latino culture. She responded by offering individual and group conversational Spanish classes in Boulder and surrounding communities to mature teens and adults whose main challenge was verbal communication.

Alejandra’s infectious enthusiasm for teaching Spanish has garnered her many long term clients in Boulder and surrounding communities, led her to volunteer leadership to a local Spanish conversation group and to combine her yoga and Spanish teaching practices as a way to achieve peace and balance in her personal life, far from her cultural roots. This journey has since become a much larger trajectory to help her Latin community discover this wonderful path of finding harmony in body, mind and spirit. Alejandra Russell is a 2014 graduate from Full Circle Yoga in Longmont, certified to instruct yoga and additionally offers these same classes in Spanish language.
